Description of the place:
Are you looking for peace and quiet in the middle of the monumental beauty of the mountains and forests? The dense forest tissue of this region results in a crystalline and healing air. We cordially invite all those who are not only interested in topographic aspects of the region but also those who want to approach the region’s customs and traditions. A great number of tourist trails enables multi-levelled contact with nature, resulting in unforgettable adventures. The forests around are rich of mushrooms, wild raspberries and blueberries. Each day full of activities you will end by relaxing by a bonfire. There is a stable nearby the farmhouse where you can hire a horse and explore the area in the saddle. The remote location of the village makes it a dream enclave for those fed up with everyday urban turmoil.
Accommodation:
Feel warmly invited to a charmingly situated traditional hut, preserved with its traditional cottage style. The easygoing owners have two- and three-bed rooms with bathrooms and TV, and there is a spacious bower for sunny days.

SAMPLE PROGRAMME

Day 1: Arrival in Cracow. Transfer to your lodgings.
Day 2: Equestrian lessons in an outdoor arena amidst meadows and the woodlands. Horse-riding tuition available for both novice and experienced riders.
Day 3: Horse-riding tuition in an outdoor arena.
Day 4: One day trip to Slovakia to the Orava Lake. Visiting thermal baths and the dramatically situated Orava Castle.
Day 5: Horse-riding tuition in outdoor arena.
Day 6: Departure to Cracow. Visiting Wawel Castle, the former site of the Polish Kings and Queens, built on a lime hill. The Wawel Ensemble, the castle and the cathedral, is a national treasure which has played a prominent and remarkable role in Polish history and culture and still keeps fascinating, unsolved mysteries.
Day 7: Trip to the national monument, the salt mine of Wieliczka. The mine is a unique mining site in the world which has been in operation since the Middle Ages. The original excavations, passages, ramps, chambers, lakes and shafts make together 300 km, situated on nine different levels, reaching the depth of 327 metres underground. It is a living illustration of the development of mining techniques throughout history.
Day 8: Visiting monuments of old-town Cracow.
Day 9: Transfer to Balice Airport, Cracow. Departure.
